Green Lands Blue Waters
As part of Design & Agency, I became familiar with working on real-world projects. Through an intense, collaborative, project-based approach, this course explored the practice of graphic design. I extended my learning beyond the classroom and worked with community partners to create a variety of design projects. One of the clients that I was able to conduct some design consulting for was Green Lands Blue Waters. My team had the opportunity to create logo iterations, brand style, post card templates, banner options, and powerpoint templates for the organization.
It was an incredible learning process that was
accomplished through many stages. My team
conducted research, found inspiration, created many hand-drawn iterations as well as digital iterations, and discussed many different ideas to come up with the brand style that fit just right for Green Lands
Blue Waters.

Green Lands Blue Waters approached Design & Agency on a short timeline for some basic help to shape up our style guide and develop a few templates for outreach materials. In a matter of just a few weeks, Heather and her teammate, created and presented revised logo options with paired style guides and templates in multiple layouts for power point presentations, banners, and post cards. We were thrilled! The work was outstanding with all options so creative and professional that it was hard to choose. Heather communicated clearly with us throughout the project, setting and meeting deadlines, requesting feedback, and providing products. Thanks, Heather! We are leaps ahead now!
